Not a lot of movie watching this week.  An unfortunate turn of events led to me missing The Alamo Draft House Dismember the Alamo and meant no movie watching Saturday.

Blood Diner (1987) 1h, 28m
Total Points: 2 – No bonus points
Psuedo-sequel to Blood Feast and an absolute homage to Herschell Gordon Lewis. It missed the mark for me and lacked the charm of HGL.
5.5/10

Ghost Story (1981) 1h, 50m
Total Points: 2 – No bonus points
Excellent adpatation of the Peter Straub novel with a heavy weight cast.  This is a slow burn, but oozes atmosphere and is well worth seeing.
8.5/10

Friday the 13th, Part IV: The Final Chapter (1984) 1h, 31m
Total Points: 2 – No bonus points
The beginning of the Tommy Jarvis arc, arguably the highlight of the F13 franchise.  I love this story.
8/10

Deathgasm (2015) 1h, 26m
Total Points: 6 (ATB – Characters dressed like clowns (grotesque whiteface make-up) commits homicide)
Evil Dead meets metal and that’s good enough for me.
8/10

Trick ‘r Treat (2007) 1h, 22m
Total Points: 6 – (ATB – Clown is killed – child dressed as a clown on the school bus dies when it plummets into the reservoir)
I love this movie.  It’s perfect, not just for the Halloween season, but it’s a really well put together movie.
10/10

Funhouse Massacre (2015) 1h, 30m
Total Points: 6 (ATB – Clown commits homicide – Multiple)
Nothing impressive, but also not a dumpster fire.  Might have to give this a rewatch some day.
5.5/10

The Hills Have Eyes (1977) 1h, 29m
Total Points: 2 (No bonus points)
Checking out the gorgeous Arrow set of a classic Craven film.
9/1

Total Points: 26
